Tommaso Maestrelli and Giorgio Chinaglia, the two absolute protagonists of Lazio’s history portrayed by Marcello Geppetti embracing each other on the football field.
Theirs was not just a relationship between coach and player but they were united by a father-son bond.
Maestrelli was the only person who was able to manage the rebellious character of the great striker biancoceleste and the Chinaglia’s 24 goals were decisive to give to Lazio the first championship in its history in the 1973-74 season.
