Description

Marcello Geppetti photographs Lina Wertmüller and Rita Pavone on the set of  “Non stuzzicate la zanzara”, by Wertmüller in 1967.

The movie tells the story of Rita, a girl escaped from college to pursue her dream of becoming a singer.

This “musicarello” is the sequel of “Rita la zanzara” (1966). Just like all Wertmüller works, it reflects her political and social commitment. In this case, “La zanzara” is the student newspaper of the Parini High School in Milan that was seized for obscenity several months before the movie.
