Description

Anita Ekberg fights against photographers with bow and arrows in Rome, October 20th 1960.

It was an October night when Paparazzi decided to follow Anita Ekberg who was in a car together with her producer Guido Gianbartolomei.

When they arrived in front of her villa, she was angry and a little drunk. She got in the house and when she came out barefoot, she had in her hands a bow and arrows to hit the paparazzi. She had just finished filming the movie “The mongols” (1961) and she preserved the instruments she had used on the set.

In that occasion Anita Ekberg hurted the photographer Quinto Felice in the arm. Just a bit after she realized to have lost her control, so picked up the arrow and gave it to Marcello Geppetti, the only one able to catch the instant with his camera.
