Tommaso Maestrelli has a place of honor in the hearts of Lazio fans.

Maestrelli coached the Biancoceleste team from the Serie B championship of 1970-71 to the victory of the 1973-74 season, until an atrocious evil stopped him.

In spite of the illness, in the 1975-76 season he returned to coach the team, leading it to safety from a relegation.
