Marcello Geppetti takes a photo of Brigitte Bardot with a wig on the set of  “The Contempt”. The Movie, based on the novel by Alberto Moravia, was directed in 1963 by Jean-Luc Godard.

The film, set between Rome and Capri in two days, tells the story of French writer Paul Javal (M. Piccoli), who lives in Rome with his wife, the twenty-eight years old Emilia (B. Bardot). Javal get to Cinecittà convened by US producer Jerry Prokosch (J. Palance) to rewrite the script of a movie. On this occasion he brings his wife who surrenders to Prokosh courtship. Paul catches them kissing and  to avoid of lose his wife, he seems to give up his job, but the contempt that Emilia has for him it’s too big.
