Marcello Geppetti photographs Vincente Minnelli at the “Cafè de Paris”, during the filming of the movie “Two Weeks in Another Town” in 1961.

In the movie, shots entirely in Rome between Cinecittà and Via Veneto, there are celebrities such us Kirk Douglas, George Hamilton, Rosanna Schiaffino, Edward G. Robinson and Cyd Charisse. The plot tells the story of Jack Andrews, an actor in crisis, called to Rome to shoot a film directed by his friend Maurice Kruger. Suddenly the actor is called to replace the director and he realizes to be very good in this new role. Having been able to make sense of his life, he takes the opportunity to spend two weeks in the Capital, especially in the places where could be breathed the air of the Italian Dolce Vita.
